UPDATE 2023: Theme is still in my GitHub repository and can be downloaded, but surely is outdated. The Blog Philipp Bytes Bugs is nowadays powered by Hugo ;)
For all those who are looking for a very reduced WordPress theme or also a starting example for the development of an own theme I provide the theme of Philipp Bytes Bugs for download
Download: hanggsimple_theme
With this theme, the subtitle created in the WordPress admin area under „Settings“->“General“ is not displayed on the page. However, I recommend creating the subtitle in the form of a small description of the blog anyway. The subtitle is used dynamically as part of the description meta tag.
Installation:
1.) download the file hanggsimple_theme.zip and unzip it.
2.) upload the folder „hanggsimple“ with your FTP program (e.g. Filezilla) into the folder /wp-content/themes/ of your web root.
Check the file permissions with the FTP program and change them if necessary. Folders of the theme should have the file permissions „644“. All files should have „755“
4.) you can load a new title image to /hanggsimple/images/.
Alternatively, there is also the possibility to load the theme via WordPress in the admin area as a .zip file.
